The V2.2.0 release is here. This is everything you need to know.
V2.2.0 is now available to download. This is one of the most significant updates since V2 launched, two features that have been at the top of the request list, and neither of them existed anywhere in NinjaTrader before.
Trade History: Every Trade, Every Account, Every Stat
NinjaTrader has a performance tab. It shows you your own account’s trades. What it cannot do is show you the combined performance of your signal strategy across every follower account simultaneously because those are separate accounts with separate histories that NT8 has no way to connect.
V2.2.0 solves this with a dedicated Trade History window inside Q-My-Trade.
Every trade copied to every follower account is logged automatically, entry time, exit time, direction, instrument, contract size, mode, master group, sub-group, and net P&L after commissions. The log persists across sessions, writes to a dated CSV file in your NinjaTrader documents folder, and loads on every open.
When you run a strategy across ten Apex accounts, NT8 shows you ten separate performance tabs. You have to mentally add them up and try to build a picture of how the strategy is actually performing across the portfolio. Q-My-Trade’s Trade History aggregates everything automatically. One unified view. One real number.
One View Across Every Strategy and Instrument
If you run multiple masters, an NQ strategy and an GC strategy for example, or two completely different approaches on the same instrument, V2.2.0 logs every trade from every master into a single unified history. You can view the combined stats across your entire operation, or filter down to a single account, instrument, or direction to isolate exactly what you want to see. The same applies to back testing in NinjaTrader’s Market Replay, run as many strategies as you like across as many sim accounts as you need, and when the session ends the Trade History STATS tab shows you the real combined picture: win rate, profit factor, drawdown, and P&L by hour and day of week across everything. This is something NinjaTrader has never been able to do natively. Individual account performance tabs tell you nothing about how your strategy portfolio performs as a whole. Q-My-Trade V2.2.0 does.
The STATS Tab: Full Performance Analytics
The Trade History window has three tabs: TABLE (the full trade log), CHART (equity curve), and STATS. The STATS tab calculates a full suite of performance metrics across your filtered dataset in real time:
- Core Performance: Trades, Win Rate, Gross P&L, Profit Factor, Expectancy, Sharpe Ratio, Avg Win, Avg Loss, Best Trade, Worst Trade, Avg Duration, Avg RR
- Drawdown: Peak P&L, Current Drawdown, Max Drawdown
- Streaks: Max Win Streak, Max Loss Streak, Current Streak
- P&L by Entry Hour: Cumulative P&L grouped by hour of entry, find out which sessions actually make you money
- P&L by Day of Week: Cumulative P&L grouped by day of the week
- Days: Best Day, Worst Day, Average Trades per Day
Every stat responds instantly to the filter controls. Switch account, change date range, filter by direction or symbol, everything recalculates. The STATS tab always shows the numbers for exactly the subset you are looking at.
Filters That Actually Work Together
Every view (TABLE, CHART, and STATS) is driven by the same filter controls:
- Account: Any single account or all accounts combined
- Symbol: Filter to one instrument if you trade multiple
- Mode: COPY ALL only, ROTATE only, or both
- Direction: LONG only, SHORT only, or both
And the date range controls: TODAY, ALL TIME, or a custom From / To date range using the calendar picker. All filters work together. This is the level of filtering NinjaTrader’s own performance tab has never offered.
Balance Target Cap: Stop Trading When You Pass
The existing win/loss caps evaluate against your daily P&L change. They reset each day.
The Balance Target Cap is different. It evaluates against your absolute account equity, NT8’s NetLiquidation figure and triggers once, permanently, when that number crosses your target.
Set it to 53000 on a $50,000 Apex evaluation account. If a trade takes the account over $53,000, Q-My-Trade stops copying trades to that account. It will not take another trade until you manually clear the cap.
The balance target sits alongside the existing Max Win and Max Loss caps, all three evaluate independently. Whichever fires first wins. We verified the NetLiquidation figure against the Apex portal at end of day. The numbers match.
