Is the strategy actually any good? Would the trades you took have met your prop firm's rules? Refine-My-Trade captures tick paths, then analyzes your trades and the rules you enter.
What it does
Refine-My-Trade is a NinjaTrader 8 analysis tool. Start capture before you trade. It records trades tick by tick and replays them against your chosen exit settings and rule profiles. It observes and reports. It does not place, modify or cancel orders, close positions or enforce limits.
It tests exits against what happened
RMT records the price path between entry and exit fills while capture is running. Replay targets, stops, trailing stops and break-even levels against those trades, changing one setting at a time. Compare total P&L, trades helped or hurt and the drawdown the alternative would have required. If no change is better, that is a result too.
It finds the hours and days in your sample
Compare results by hour and weekday, including profit per trade, win rate, maximum favourable and adverse excursion, and how much of a trade's peak move was kept. Findings describe only the trades captured, and timing analysis uses sample-size gating.
It models the rules you enter
Enter starting balance, drawdown type and amount, trailing drawdown lock, daily loss, scaling levels, consistency, minimum trading days, position caps and payout thresholds. Evaluation and funded rules are separate. Profiles use a neutral template, not firm presets. Verify every value against your current account rules.
It replays a full account lifecycle
Replay captured trades as a sequence of accounts, from evaluation through funded stages. Review daily balances, drawdown floor, consistency, payouts and the rules that held a payout back. These are modelled outcomes from the trades and rules entered, not predictions.
It tells you when the sample is too small
Fifteen trades may show an obvious problem, but cannot establish a subtler pattern. The Quick Start recommends 100 or more trades before structural changes. Suggestions are gated, single-outlier findings are rejected, and a setting that fails a tick away is marked fragile.
